Almond Milk Chia Pudding Parfait

If you watch my stories on the reg, then you know I typically have a green smoothie bowl (sometimes spiked with turmeric) every morning. However, I've been CRAVING yogurt lately, but honestly most of the vegan yogurts I buy from the store just don't suffice. They're not creamy enough, thick enough or sour enough like a good all natural greek yogurt.

Then, I discovered Dahlicious. I ran into Dahlicious at ExpoWest and was mind blown. How have they mastered this sour but sweet, creamy, thick, luscious vegan yogurt? Dahlicious yogurts use ancient Indian style techniques like slow culturing (each batch is slow cultured twice as long as traditional western yogurts) which results in a creamier, thicker texture with double the probiotics! Happy gut = happy mind. As you might already know, I'm a sucker for a good gut-loving food.


I typically have my Dahlicious Plain Valencia Almond yogurt with some cacao nibs and berries, mixed in with some plant-based protein powder. Today, I decided to step it up a notch and mix it with some nutrient-rich chia pudding (because I've weirdly had a craving for chia pudding lately too. Mercury Retrograde is doing ALL sorts of weird things!) Anyway, this combo is unreal so this is one thing I can thank Mercury Retrograde for. I will definitely keep this combo in my regular rotation of breakfast items.

Anyway, to the deets! This could be the easiest recipe you've ever come across. Brace yourself.


Dahlicious Chia Pudding Yogurt Parfait

1/3 cup chia seeds

1/2 cup unsweetened nut milk

1/2 tsp spirulina

(1) 5.3oz plain valencia almond Dahlicious yogurt

unsweetened shredded coconut & cacabo nibs (optional topper, but a great extra crunch!)


1. Mix the chia seeds, nut milk and spirulina together until well combined and the chia seeds start to thicken. Place in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours until it forms a thick consistency

2. Layer the chia pudding + almond milk + toppings in a bowl of choice, and enjoy!
