Q: What kind of food will I find in the meal plan?

A: The Lazy Thyroid Diet is a 7-day paleo/vegan meal plan. Every other morning will start with an IsaTales signature “Lazy Thyroid Elixir” smoothie, bustling with superfoods and functional nutrients. Alternate mornings will start with either an omelet, chia pudding, or protein oats. Lunches range from lentil soups to arugula salads, while dinners feature vegetable buddha bowls, cauliflower fried rice and more.


Q: What does "paleo/vegan" mean?

A: Paleo/vegan means that each meal will be heavy on the plants and light on the animal sources.


Q: Does this meal plan have meat?

A: There are 3 meals that incorporate eggs and 1 meal that incorporates salmon. The purpose of this is to make sure that you are getting as many thyroid-loving nutrients as possible from food sources, many of which can be found in eggs and fish in higher concentrations. We encourage you to purchase wild caught fish and organic, pasture-raised eggs for the health of the environment and the health of your body. That being said, feel free to substitute the animal proteins with a plant protein you’re comfortable with.
